Who is paying to stay leveraged.
Funding is what longs pay shorts, or the reverse, on perpetual futures. When it runs hot the trade is crowded, and crowded trades unwind fast.

The channel posts trade ideas with full context: entry, stop-loss, targets and the reasoning behind each setup, plus short notes when a fee spike, a funding flip or a regulator release lands. The email stays the daily data brief.

What a funding rate tells you, and what it doesn't
Why a hot rate signals crowding, why it is not a timing tool, and how it is calculated each hour.
Why a cheap Bitcoin fee can jump tenfold
Blocks have a fixed size. When demand spikes, the fee market reprices in minutes.
Stablecoin supply: the slow signal worth watching
What minting and burning tell you about money entering crypto, and where the signal breaks down.
Before you sign up.
- Is the brief free?
- Yes. The weekday email, the Sunday recap and the Telegram channel are all free.
- When does the first email arrive?
- The email edition is in its launch phase. Everyone on the list receives the first issue when it starts, with the cadence and desks they picked. Until then, the Telegram channel carries the trade ideas and daily notes.
- Can I choose what I get?
- Yes. Pick daily or weekly, and choose desks with the chips in the signup panel or the "Include in my brief" buttons on each desk. You will be able to change both from any email.
- Where do the numbers come from?
- Prices from Kraken (Coinbase Exchange as backup), Bitcoin network data from mempool.space, Ethereum fees from a public node, funding from Hyperliquid, implied volatility from Deribit, stablecoin supply from DefiLlama, and dates and releases from the Federal Reserve, BLS, SEC and ECB. Each desk shows when it was last updated.
- Do you share trade ideas?
- Yes, on the Telegram channel. Each idea comes with full context: entry, stop-loss, targets and the reasoning behind the setup. They are educational examples of how a setup is read, not personal advice or instructions to trade. Many ideas will hit their stop-loss, so never risk money you cannot afford to lose.
- Is this investment advice?
- No. Everything here is educational. Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose all the money you put in.
- How do I unsubscribe?
- Every email will include a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also message us on Telegram and we will remove you.
- What happens to my email?
- It is used only to send the brief and is stored with Cloudflare. We never sell it. Ask any time and we delete it, along with your desk choices.
